How to Test V-Sit Hold

Test your V-sit hold time and leg position.

Warm-Up First

Warm up before testing. This prepares your body and gives you a more accurate result.

  1. 15 minutes light movement
  2. 2Pike stretches
  3. 320-30 seconds L-sit hold
  4. 4Compression drills
  5. 5Rest 1-2 minutes

How to Perform the Test

  • Get into V-sit position (legs above horizontal)
  • Hold with legs as high as possible
  • Time from stable position to failure
  • Note the angle of your legs

What Counts as a Good Rep

  • Legs above L-sit (above horizontal)
  • Legs straight
  • Controlled position
  • Higher leg angle = more advanced

Recording Your Result

Record hold time and approximate leg angle. Example: "V-sit 45° - 8 seconds"

Safety Notes

  • Master L-sit before attempting V-sit
