How to Test I-Sit / Manna

Test your manna/I-sit progression and hold time.

Warm-Up First

Warm up before testing. This prepares your body and gives you a more accurate result.

  1. 15-10 minutes light movement
  2. 2Thorough hip and hamstring warm-up
  3. 330+ seconds V-sit hold
  4. 4Manna lean drills
  5. 5Rest 2-3 minutes

How to Perform the Test

  • Attempt to lift legs toward vertical behind you
  • Hold your highest clean position
  • Time the hold
  • Note how close legs are to vertical

What Counts as a Good Rep

  • Hips elevated, shoulders back
  • Legs extending upward behind center of mass
  • Controlled position
  • True manna = legs at or past vertical

Recording Your Result

Record progression and time. Example: "High V-sit / pre-manna - 3 seconds"

Safety Notes

  • This is an elite skill - do not force it
  • Requires exceptional hip flexibility
